當愛已成往事！阿藍尼亞與蓋爾姬兒離婚官司開打

阿藍尼亞10月9日接受法國費加洛報專訪時，坦承兩人婚姻的確出了狀況，但蓋爾姬兒不會想要離婚的...。但蓋爾姬兒隔天馬上反擊，以下摘自女方官方網站聲明：

Angela Gheorghiu wishes to emphasize that she has been separated from Roberto Alagna for the last two years. Her attempts to save the marriage in this period failed.Having initiated divorce proceedings months ago, she awaits the finalisation of their divorce as soon as possible. Ms. Gheorghiu understands that Mr. Alagna is bitter about this situation. As for her part, contrary to his declarations, she would like to live her life now with peace and tranquillity.

諸多歌劇界事後諸葛紛紛表示，這紙聲明只不過讓流傳已久的公開秘密正式檯面化，同時也幸災樂禍的預言，這場離婚官司應該會比舞台上的歌劇精彩好幾倍！

八月中旬，蓋爾姬兒宣布因為「私人理由」，婉謝演出籌備已久的紐約大都會歌劇院新版《卡門》八場演出計畫中的六場，只打算保留明年4月28日與5月1日兩場演出，只是取消的六場演出男主角唐荷西剛好都是阿藍尼亞，連報導此事的紐約時報都猜測背後原因可能出在夫妻失和，果然，不到兩個月就東窗事發了！

萬萬沒想到的是，冰凍三尺非一日之寒，在蓋爾姬兒口中，已經隱忍了長達兩年之久，而從近兩年來推出新作品的合作對象都已經換成墨西哥男高音Ramón Vargas或德國帥哥Jonas Kaufmann，也可間接印證此言不假...
